Hot water cylinder Drilled by Solar Installer...

Had to go fix a hot water cylinder today that a solar installer had drilled this is what I found, unfortunately I will have to go back and replace the cylinder as it had corroded around the iron fixings.



Got a nice new cylinder but unfortunately it had a manufacturing fault so day two was abandoned.




Graham's plumbing merchants replaced the cylinder, all installed and all is well.

    Went to fit a new cylinder today just to find out it had a hole in it when I pressure tested... POO have to try again.

      Thanks Lofty, due to your hard work and persistence, and a late evening to get it sorted, we now have the luxury of Hot Water again!
